J-MOS "HotTracking" offers a variety of tracking options.
Each reporting station can be set as a "In-WIP-Out" or "In" only or maybe just "Out" only... Depending on your needs.
You may want to just setup a "Quality Control" check point where items get scanned on approval. It is up to you.
Check from any computer on the J-MOS System and find out the location of your items in the shop.
Use "HotTracking" to check-on items as they are put on the truck.
